TRENTHAM
COMMUNITY CENTRE.

Construction of a new single storey steel framed community centre, located within the grounds of Trentham High School, with insulated steel and wall cladding and aluminium screen glazing. Key to the success of building performance was the ventilation strategy developed between RAE BUILD and the client team. Underfloor heating was installed. Main services including drainage were diverted way from the footprint of the building.

CANNOCK CHASE
CEMETERY.

Construction of prefabricated reception building for proposed cemetery. RAE BUILD erected a timber framed building on a newly constructed concrete slab with access ramps to all entrances and exits. New mechanical and electrical equipment was installed throughout for kitchenette, wc and reception facilities. Security roller shutters were installed to all perimeter openings while a new carpark and access was created for the public and deliveries.

RAE BUILD were commissioned with a new-build village hall project in the Staffordshire community of Fradswell, to replace an existing run-down building. The project was funded with Lottery Money and included a main activity room with adjacent store, kitchen and foyer with public toilets. Underfloor heating was installed while an external area was enhanced with a patio and soft landscaping.

TUNSTALL PARK
BOATHOUSE.

Refurbishment and structural alterations to a boathouse which had fallen into disrepair and was part of a wider project to improve the facilities within Tunstall Park. The client wished to present the building in a condition which attracted a private enterprise to run a commercial business on a lease. RAE BUILD totally stripped out the building ready for refurbishment following an asbestos demolition and refurbishment survey.

ECO GARDEN.

RAE BUILD were tasked with improving the outdoor space at Ark Tindal Primary Academy, including the planting of trees and bushes, the construction of an eco-house storing various forms of renewable energy, and the installation of various structures with a focus on sustainability and recycled materials. A timber amphitheatre provides safe seating for teaching during warm/dry periods while winding tarmac paths lead to the refurbished pond and shed areas.
