RAEBUILD successfully completed the refurbishment of teaching facilities at Burton and South Derbyshire College, delivering a modern classroom and a brand-new food preparation room. The project transformed existing spaces into high-quality learning environments, providing students and staff with contemporary facilities designed to support practical education and day-to-day teaching.
The college required the refurbishment of existing accommodation to create modern, flexible teaching spaces that would enhance both classroom learning and practical food preparation training.
The works needed to deliver durable, functional environments while maintaining high standards of finish suitable for an active educational setting.
Working in partnership with Burton and South Derbyshire College, we carried out a comprehensive internal refurbishment to create bright, modern teaching facilities throughout the building.
The works included the installation of a fully equipped food preparation room featuring bespoke kitchen units, practical workstations, integrated appliances, stainless steel sinks and specialist teaching facilities.
Alongside this, we refurbished existing classrooms with new flooring, suspended ceilings, LED lighting, decoration, bespoke storage solutions and upgraded electrical installations to create flexible learning spaces finished to a high standard.
The completed refurbishment has provided the college with modern, attractive facilities that enhance both teaching and learning.
The new food preparation room offers a professional environment for practical training, while the refurbished classrooms provide bright, flexible spaces that support a wide range of educational activities.
